Nandha Nandhitha opened during the beginning of the month in Telugu to bad reviews. Directed by Ram Shiva and acted out by Surya Pratap, Meghna Raj and Gulzar, the movie was panned by critics after its release. Surprisingly, it's the remake of a hit Kannada movie.

Nandha Nandhitha also features another bunch of debut actors and director. The upsurge in debut artistes is just overwhelming these days. One wishes the phenomenon does something to help the indie scene and contribute to Tamil cinema rather than disappearing as a flash in a pan.
