Arun
Vijay has been around for a
long time now. One feels sorry
that he never really got his
due. A good and honest actor,
he never had the breakthrough
that could establish him as
a lead actor in Tamil cinema.
But, this weekend, that could
change with Malai Malai hitting
theaters. Malai Malai is all
about two mountains of power
clashing with each other. One
man is an important and powerful
figure in the village while
the other man hails form the
city. Why they clash is the
story of Malai Malai.

The film has been directed by A. Venkatesh
of Chocolate, Bhagavathi and Kuthu fame.
The director has said that Malai Malai will
certainly be a turning point in Arun Vijay’s
character. Vedika will be Arun Vijay’s
on screen pair and her’s will not
be an arm candy type of role. Malai Malai
has a strong support cast in the form of
Prabhu and Prakash Raj, both of whom have
got roles that will do justice to their
potential. Apart from them, the movie also
has Vijay Kumar, Riyaz Khan, Kadhal Dhandapani,
Rajalakshmi and others.
Comedy will be provided by the Santhanam,
Kanja Karuppu and Lollu Sabha Manohar team.
Music has been scored by Mani Sharma. Produced
on a fairly grand scale by Feather Touch
Entertainments, let’s hope that Malai
Malai proves to be lucky for Arun Vijay.
