Kondaan Koduthaan is directed by G Rajendran. The movie has Kadhir Kaman and Adhvaitha playing the lead with Ilavarasu, Ganja Karuppu, L. Raja, Manobala, Rajkapoor, Meera Krishnan and Sulakshana in significant roles. Story, screenplay, dialogue and camera departments are also taken care by director G Rajendran. As can be deciphered from the title, the movie is a family entertainer about sacrifices.

Director Rajendran, at the movie's audio launch, mentioned that the movie celebrates the bond between siblings. Kondaan Koduthaan has no item songs or fight sequences. Shot in Kallur, near Karaikudi, the movie was wrapped in less than a month, according to the director. According to Kadhir Kaman, the movie has a beautiful screenplay and an interesting score.

The movie has Deva scoring music. Of the five songs in the album ‘Thanjavur Gopuram' appears twice. Songs are sung by SPB, Chinmayi, Karthik and Thanjai Selvi. Produced by Ayyappa, who says the movie deals with the message that there should not be any ego clash in a family, Kondaan Koduthaan is releasing all over this weekend.
