Aachariyangal is directed by debutante director Harshavardhan who had participated in Kamal Haasan's screen-writing workshop held in 2009. He also met the legend recently to seek his blessings and presented his work in the film to Kamal.

Taman Kumar, Mahanadhi Shankar and Narayanan are part of the cast list while music has been composed by Ganesh Raghavendra. Deepak Bagavanth is behind the lens for this venture.

Purple Patch Entertainment produces this film which is expected to be something different from the 'run of the mill' movies we often see. This team also recently held an innovative contest and scouted for talent to act and direct their promo song.
