A couple of decades ago, there was a Malayalam movie called Aduthathu with Mohanlal in the lead. This Tamil movie, however, has no relevance to the Malayalam one. Written and directed by Thakkali Srinivasan, going by the movie of it, the movie appears to be a romance.
