Ambasamuthiram Ambani is a Karunas production. So,
one can imagine that the comedian has had a lot of
say over the proceedings. The writing and direction
of the movie has been carried out by Ramanathan who
has been in charge of all Karunas’ comic tracks
for many years now. Can the successful comic team
make a good feature film? Besides acting, Karunas
has also scored the music for Ambasamuthiram Ambani.
He had earlier done a music director’s job for
the Lawrence starrer Rajadhi Raja.
With quite an interesting storyline, which is sure
to provide many lighter moments and insights into
the way a big city functions and receives small timers
from the interiors and about the various things that
a newcomer to Chennai has to learn, Ambasamuthiram
Ambani will offer more than just the normal fun that
is associated with Karunas. Navneet Kaur plays the
female lead in the film while the Late VMC Haneefa
and Kota Sreenivasa Rao appear in important roles.
