This
Diwali, Suriya and KSR provide
the fireworks with Aadhavan.
Lighting up screens on festival
day, Aadhavan aims to carry
forward Suriya’s amazing
run of success over the last
couple of years. The film comes
with a number of interesting
points; the Suriya-KSR combination,
Nayanthara as Suriya’s
heroine, Saroja Devi in an important
role after a long time and of
course the regular attraction
in almost every Suriya starrer
these days, Harris Jayaraj’s
music.
There is no mistaking the genre
to which this film belongs;
it is a complete entertainer,
the kind that we are used to
getting from KSR time and again.
Aadhavan is special because
it is also his first release
after the huge Dasavatharam.
With a versatile young star
like Suriya by his side, will
KSR be able to create magic
once again?
The trailer might have given
you adequate ideas about the
film. There seems to be enough
in it for everybody- romance
for the romantics, comedy for
the light hearted, action packed
chases for the adrenaline junkies
and a lot

more.
Above all, we are seeing Suriya in
more number of looks than ever before.
Looks like this one might outdo even
the looks and body structures that
he worked up for Vaaranam Aayiram.
In Aadhavan, we will get to see him
as a Sardar too. The Aadhavan camp
has revealed that the story revolves
around the central character’s
quest for truth.
Other highlights in the film are reportedly
Nayanthara’s performance. Her
role is touted to be one of substance,
a departure from the regular glamour
doll kind of roles. The late Murali,
in his last Tamil film, is said to
have delivered a great performance.
Vadivelu and Ramesh Khanna (who has
also penned the story) will provide
the laughs. Riyaz Khan and Nasser
will be seen in important roles. A
chase scene involving bikes and cars
is said to be one of the highlights
of the movie. And, of course, not
forgetting the big factor, Harris
Jayaraj’s music which has already
found its place on the hit charts.
Aadhavan is also interesting because
KSR is said to have extended some
of his Dasavatharam ideas to this
one. Perhaps that is where the thought
of so many looks for Suriya came about.
Akin to the 4 feet something tall
(short) Krishnaveni paati of Dasavatharam,
there will be a 4 feet tall character
here too, the only difference being
that it is a 10 year old boy this
time.
Well,
all these interesting facts and
the festival season is all that
you need to catch Aadhavan in theaters.
Let, the festival begin and let
us hope that Aadhavan delivers the
big bang.
