Indian Writers’ Association, noted lyricist
Vaali was honored with Anna Award. The award
was presented to Vaali by Rama Narayanan
and Sathyaraj at a function held at Kalaignar
Nagar in Paiyannur. Kavignar Poovai Senguttuvan,
Mu Mehta, ‘Yaar’ Kannan, Na. Muthu Kumar,
Kabilan, Viveka, Andal Priyadarshini, Thamarai,
and others presented their literary composition
in praise of Vaali.
Sathyaraj, Karan, Rajesh and Devyani
participated in this event. Director Sambandham,
PRO Union President Vijayamurali, KS Gopalakrishnan,
Mohan Gandhiraman, Stunt Union Rajamani,
FEFSI Vice-President Saminathan and Dalapathi
Dinesh were also present.
FEFSI President VC Guhanathan heaped
praises on Vaali for his yeoman contribution
to Tamil cinema.
