Director Shankar has
thus far directed Aishwarya Rai twice in
his career. She was the heroine in Jeans,
which Shankar had directed way back in 1998
when Ash had just entered the film industry.
When Shankar was asked about how it was
working with Ash then and now, he replied
she has turned into a pro. He recalls
that she needed a lot of explanation in
Jeans but in Endhiran she understood the
nuances of filmmaking. Shankar added that
she works like a hero right from 7 am
(that’s when she enters the sets) till
its time to go home.
The director also clarified that Ash
wrote her Endhiran dialogues in English
and came well prepared everyday.
