Ramana and Richa Sinha
play the lead roles in Gandhi Kanakku. A
scene for this film was recently shot at
the Koyambedu market in Chennai. As per
the scene, Ramana is required to give a
packet of biriyani to a supporting actress,
who plays a beggar.
This scene was shot from a car, as director
Sampath Arumugam wanted it to be very
realistic. But people near-by apparently
thought that Ramana was misbehaving with
the beggar and gathered around him. The
director, sensing trouble, rushed to the
spot to explain that it was only a film
shooting.
Moreover, the public were seen giving
alms to the supporting actress. Recalling
this, Sampath says that he is happy that
the scene has turned out to be realistic.
