The mortal remains of
actor Murali was cremated at the Besant
Nagar electric crematorium this morning.
The last rites were conducted at his residence
in Valasarawalkam and the funeral procession
began with thousands of the star’s fans,
well-wishers and relatives offering final
respects.
Actors Rajinikanth, Sarath Kumar, Siva Kumar,
Suriya, Arjun, Mohan, Sneha, Parthiban,
Cheran, Revathy, Radhika, Nalini and a host
of other film personalities paid their homage
to the departed soul yesterday.
Early this morning, the Deputy Chief Minister
of Tamil Nadu, MK Stalin, and the Mayor
of Chennai M Subramanian, Kushboo, Bala
and others paid their last respects.
