Director Shelvan, an
erstwhile associate of Shankar, is now directing
a film titled Krishna Leelai. This movie
is being produced by another ace producer
K Balachander for his home productions Kavithalaya.
Speaking about how he convinced KB sir
to accept the film, Shelvan says that
it took him nearly two hours to complete
the story narration. Soon after that,
K Balachander asked him if he was not
afraid to deal with such a subject to
which Shelvan replied that he had the
same gut feeling that KB would have had
when directing Thaneer Thaneer. KB immediately
flagged off the project which is now nearing
completion.
