Neetu Chandra’s name
has figured in the match-fixing scandal
in which the Pakistani players are involved.
The actress, who is currently starring in
Yudham Sei and has signed up for Mankatha,
has reportedly made two short calls to Pakistani
cricketer Mohammad Asif on November 7th,
2009.
Pakistani actress Veena Malik, who is
known for her close proximity with Asif,
has reportedly said that she had seen
an Indian mobile number on his mobile
and he had claimed it was a Hindi actress’s
number who is his fan.
Denying reports of her alleged involvement
in the scandal, Neetu’s publicist Dale
Bhagwagar has said that she is not aware
of who Asif is, and she had first seen
his photo only after these reports.
