Shriya was signed up
to star in the Mohanlal-starrer Casanova
but we now hear that the lady opted out.
Enquiries reveal that Shriya was waiting
for the film to commence but it did not
take off as planned.
Due to this, she lost several good opportunities
that came her way and decided not to remain
idle any longer. The actress has been
roped in by Deepa Mehta for her film Midnight
Children and hence made up her mind to
concentrate on that.
Sources close to Shriya say that she
was intent on doing Casanova as it had
a host of stars but eventually opted out
due to the delay.
