Vettaikaran’s audio launch
took place in Chennai on Wednesday,
September 23rd. All the five songs
in the film were screened at the
function venue that had Vijay’s
fans go gaga. The audio was released
by director Shankar and KS Ravi
Kumar and it was received collectively
by all the stars.
Speaking at the function, Ilayathalapthi
Vijay said that he was shocked and
surprised when he came to know that
Sun Pictures had purchased the rights
of Vettaikaran. Heaping praises
on music director Vijay Anthony,
Vijay said all the songs have come
out really well, especially Naan
Adicha Thangamatta, which he revealed
was his son Sanjay’s favorite.
The actor said that his son used
to dance to the songs so much so
that he made him dance for the song
in the film.
Director Shankar said that whenever
he is out of town shooting, the
fans always question him on when
Vijay will feature in his film.
Shankar disclosed that Rajini was
his first choice for Mudhalvan and
Vijay next. However, that project
finally went to Arjun. The director
said that he would work on a script
that would suit Vijay soon.
