FEFSI will host the 3 day All India
Film Workers Association’s
conclave in Chennai from October
9 – 11, 2009 at the Chennai
Trade Center, Nandambakkam. It’s
after 30 years that an event of
this sort is happening in Chennai.
FEFSI is planning to host an array
of events including interactions
and cultural activities. Cultural
programs will be held in the Nehru
indoor stadium.
The event will be kick started
by Union Minister Jagathratchagan
on October 9, 2009 and will see
participation from veterans like
K. Balachander, Rama Narayanan,
K R G, Bharathiraja, Kamal, Rajini,
Sharathkumar and Radha Ravi. FEFSI
also plans to confer the ‘Ulaga
Sadanayalar’ award upon the
Chief Minister.
October 9, 2009 will see a grand
music concert with contributions
from MSV, Ilayaraja, Rahman, Harris,
Yuvan and more than 50 other musicians.
A star night is proposed to be held
on October 11, after the elections,
that will have the stars of Tamil,
Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam
and Bengalo perform on stage.
