Dhanush finally gets his girl!

Dhanush’s Aadukalam ran into rough waters when Trisha pulled out the project after signing Hindi flick Khatta Meeta under Priyadarshan’s direction with Akshay Kumar as hero.

There were quite a lot of expectations among the fans when it was announced that Trisha would be paired opposite Dhanush. However, with Trisha’s unfortunate exit from Aadukalam, the team had begun shooting those scenes that do not require a heroine but was simultaneously scouting for one. The buzz now is that director Vettrimaran has finalized the leading lady! Tapasee, a Delhi-based model, it is said has been signed up to play Dhanush’s arm candy in Aadukalam.

Vettrimaran had earlier said that he required the heroine with Anglo Indian features and decided on Trisha. Tapasee definitely does possess those features, sources aver.
