“It’s just baseless rumor,” says producer

Amma Creations’ T. Siva has refuted all allegations that the release of Saroja is in trouble. According to the producer, these were baseless rumors to thwart the hype generated for Saroja.

The film was made amidst much expectations as its director Venkat Prabhu’s debut venture Chennai 28

was a smash hit. According to Pyramid Saimira, which has purchased the film’s rights, Saroja is on par with Hollywood films and hence he plans to dub it in English.. With the distributors and theatre owners insisting on more prints for the film, it has been decided to increase the number of copies from 120 to 200. Saroja is due for release on September 5th and is scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
