Manivannan over the last couple of decades has made us laugh with his witty one-liners and made our eyes watery with his strong character performances. But the veteran had earlier enjoyed a successful time as a writer and director. Now he is all set to reprise the role of a director once again with a sequel to one of his biggest superhits Amaidhi Padai.
The sequel appropriately titled 'Nagaraja Cholan MA,MLA' will mark Manivannan’s 50th film as a director. The film will feature Sathyaraj in the lead role once again and will have director Seeman play another important lead character. The film will feature three heroines in Mirthula, Komal Sharma and Varsha. Manivannan and his son Raghu too will be part of the cast.
The film’s music will be scored by James Vasanthan and will feature Manivannan’s long time assistant D. Sankar wielding the camera. The film is expected to be wrapped up in a single schedule in Coimbatore and will be made under the banner of V House Productions.
