Santhanam was recently spotted enjoying a play of Y Gee Mahendran during the 60th year celebration of his theatre group UAA. Post the play Y Gee and Santhanam were bonding and the reason has come out of shadows.
Both the actors have supposedly been discussing for long about remaking the classic Paritchaikku Neramaachu that starred Sivaji Ganesan and Y Gee Mahendran. Y Gee will be donning the role of the father character played by ‘Nadigar Thilagam’ Sivaji Ganesan and Santhanam will reprise the role of the son played by Y Gee in the original one.
Both the actors have confirmed that talks have been going on about the project and that both are highly enthusiastic about it. However, they maintain that only after an official confirmation, more details could be divulged.
