In
a time when movies with rural backdrops are
released aplenty, here comes Mynaa chirping
its way to enthrall audiences. This Diwali release
has been in the headlines for a while especially
after the involvement and the interest shown
by some stalwarts of the industry towards the
movie. With the audio, which was released recently,
receiving critically good reviews, Mynaa is
surely showing signs of making it big. Here
are a few tidbits about the movie.
Mynaa has newcomer Vidharth and Anaka, of Sindhu
Samaveli fame, in lead roles. The posters have
evoked interest as it shows Vidharth as a typical
villager with rusty looks.
The director of the movie is Prabhu Solomon
who has shown a lot of promise in his previous
movies. His movies Lee, Kokki and Laadam received
positive reviews from the public and critics.
The movie is produced by John Max and is distributed
by none other than Udhayanidhi Stalin. Udhayanidhi
Stalin confessed that he could not sleep for
a couple of days after watching the exclusive
screening. He immediately decided to distribute
the movie himself.
Music of Mynaa has been scored by D Imman. It
has been well received by the public and is
on the Top 10 songs list for a while now. Imman
has reportedly received a lot of offers after
the music release of Mynaa.
Kamal Hassan is also among the first to watch
the movie. He reportedly told that he could
sleep well after watching the movie. The reason
behind this is because he was satisfied with
the outcome and felt that Tamil cinema is in
good hands.
