Deiva Magan team had been scouting for
a leading lady for quite some time now.
Finally, Vikram and director Vijay decided
to bring in Anushka onboard.
The film’s inaugural ceremony took
place in Chennai recently and it was a
low-key affair with its producer Mohan
Natrajan kick starting the proceedings.
The first schedule of Deiva Magan will
begin soon after Diwali in Ooty and proceed
to other locations.
This movie is said to be inspired from
the Hollywood flick ‘I’m Sam’,
a film that revolves around a mentally
retarded person.
