It
is time for Chennaites to take a sneak look
into world cinema. The stage has been set
and the Film festival of Tamil Nadu (Intl.)
was inaugurated at the South Indian Film Chamber
Theatre on Thursday, October 28, 2010. Popular
journalist and writer, Mr. Charu Nivedita
inaugurated the festival in the presence of
director Mysskin. This is the seventh consecutive
year that this festival has been organized
and this year a lot of critically acclaimed
films from across the world will be screened.
Films, which have won several awards in European
film festivals including Cannes, will be screened.
This is a good chance for film buffs who want
to watch world cinema. Short films like Super
Finn, The Antrag, Nur Eine Nacht and Fliegen
& feature films like R U there (Netherlands,
Cannes award winner), Koma (Austria), Trick
(Poland), Polugamy (Hungary) and Orly (France)
will be on display for the audience. Grab
