Mamta, with the hit of Anwar, turned
out to be one of the leading actresses
in the Malayalam film industry. But the
actress is not seen in the Tamil film
circuit after a few films. When questioned
about this, she says that good opportunities
have always eluded her in Kollywood and
hence she shifted base to Malayalam film
industry. The lady added just because
she has more offers in Malayalam films,
it does not mean that she would concentrate
on that language forever.
Mamta reveals that she may soon be donning
the greasepaint for a Tamil film as it
has a meaty role for her.
