that Mahesh Babu will play the lead role
in the Telugu version while Vijay has
been signed up for the Tamil version.

Harris Jayaraj has handed over the first
tune for the Telugu film to director Shankar
on October 17th. This news now confirms
that the 3 Idiots remake is still on cards
as opposed to the general presumption
that it may be shelved following the astounding
success of the Shankar-directed Endhiran.
