Music
director V Dhashi, who has scored music for
films like Maanavan Ninaithal, Payanangal
Thodarum and Indirasena was the chief guest
at the Makkal Kavignar Pattukottai Kalyanasundaranar
death anniversary celebrations held in Singapore.
Dhashi¸ who is a recipient of the Kerala state
award for best music, also belongs to a village
in Pattukottai.
During the Kavi Arangam held in Singapore,
Dhashi and keyboard artist Chella scored the
music instantaneously for the poems narrated
by the poets on stage. They also helped the
poets to sing the tune and had the audience
enthralled.
R Venkat, an hotelier in Singapore arranged
for this event and he was helped by Ramasamy,
the Makkal Kavignar Mandram’s head, Secretary
Rajaram and Treasurer Uthirapathy. |
