The
Super Car Club (SCC), a members’ only Club,
was founded by Mr. Gautam Singhania, CMD of
Raymond Limited and Autocar India in the year
2009. It is an initiative to let the car owners
experience their cars’ performance. The event
which took place in Mumbai in 2009 was a grand
success and following this, the founders have
planned similar event in Mumbai, Chennai and
Delhi in 2010.
Noted film star Sarath Kumar, who also shares
a passion for cars, was at the Parx Super
Car Show. A press note from the organizers
reads, “SCC is in the process of forming associations
with supercar clubs across UK, Europe and
the Americas in organizing international automotive
related events around the world. The SCC is
the best and only place for Supercar owners
and promises to be the perfect melting pot
for elite car owners and enthusiasts with
common interests to come together and share
their experiences in some of the most sought
after venues.” |
