Unakena Iruppen is directed
by Sundareswaran, who had earlier directed
Thozha. Apart from wielding the megaphone,
he has also written the story, screenplay
and dialogues of UI.
Prabha, Varshini, debutant Aishwarya, Jai
Prakash, Ganja Karuppu, Singam Puli, Mano
Bala and others are in the star cast.
The story is based out of Madurai and the
film has been shot extensively in Madurai
and Dindigul.
Film revolves around the mentally retarded
hero and the heroine’s love for him. Whether
the hero reciprocates her love and how he
turned into a lunatic form the rest of the
story.
