The FICCI has announced Media and
Entertainment Business Conclave
from November 18 – 19, 2009
at Chennai. The press release from
the FICCI states: “As a part
of FICCI’s initiatives to
facilitate business further in regions
within India and with an aim to
bring the rich potential of the
Indian Entertainment Market in the
forefront of the global media &
entertainment industry, FICCI is
organizing a ‘Media and Entertainment
Business Conclave’, November
18 – 19, 2009 at Chennai”.
Kamal Haasan, the chairman of the
FICCI Media and Entertainment Business
Conclave has said, “I am very
happy to be guiding FICCI’s
first ever initiative of this kind
and to be associated with FICCI.
We hope to be of genuine and substantial
benefit to the Southern entertainment
industry and help in bringing international
participation to the conclave and
enriching its content in every possible
way.”
The conclave will not only discuss
films that are considered to be
a major part of the media and entertainment
industry but also TV & radio
broadcast, digital entertainment,
animation, gaming, visual effects,
etc.
Apart from Central and State government
officials, the event will attract
over 500 people.
