Suriya extends financial aid for AP flood victims

Taj Banjara recently hosted the audio release of "Ghatikudu", the Telugu version of Suriya’s Aadhavan . The event saw a huge turn out of celebrities including Suriya, KS Ravi Kumar, Chandana Ramesh, Sanam Naga Ashok Kumar, Chandana Nageswar, Udayanidhi Stalin, Shanmukha Sastri, VV Vinayak, Kalyani, Kumar Babu and Chaitanya Raju.

In his address Suriya expressed his happiness over the response he received from the Telugu fans. K S R hoped that the movie would be a success like his other movies dubbed to Telugu.

After the audio release, Suriya and producer Chandana Ramesh announced Rs. 5 lakhs and Rs. 3 lakhs respectively towards the relief of the flood victims of Andhra Pradesh, caused by the recent erratic rains.
