What Jayam Ravi missed and Arun Vijay got?

The remake of the Telugu blockbuster Kick is now underway in Tamil titled Thillalangadi. The film is directed by Jayam Raja and stars Jayam Ravi and Shaam. There were reports some time back that the team had been trying hard to sign up Karthick to play the father’s role in Thillalangadi. However, the team's efforts proved futile as the actor declines the role. Later on Prabhu was finalized for the role.

Now, the buzz is that Karthick had agreed to star in Maanja Velu, which has Arun Vijay in the lead.
