Ilayaraja testified

Maestro Ilayaraja visited the Chennai high court today in the Indian Bank Vs. Sundarambal case to provide witness statement. Indian Bank has filed a case against Sundarambal who got a loan of around Rs. 5 crores in the name of producing a movie, ‘Agni Valayam’. Sundarambal claimed that the movie would have Arjun and Gowthami in the lead with Ilayaraja’s music.

The case was taken over by CBI and all the parties who were named in the movie by the accused were brought in to provide witness. Arjun, Gowthami, Vinu Chakravarthy and Cameraman Sriram had already attended the court sessions. Ilayaraja came to the court today to testify against Sundarambal’s claims.
