Actress Aparna is happy over the way Ezhakanavugal has shaped up. The actress says that it is filmed in such a way that it covers every aspect of the travails of the Sri Lankan Tamils. Ezhakanavugal is an emotional film and Aparna feels that her performance in it will receive accolades from all quarters.

The actress says that the movie Kannukkulle helped her prove her acting skills as it was way different from the love-based subjects that she was starring in earlier. Aparna reveals that her role as a mother and a nagging wife was well appreciated by the audience who had seen the film.
