Gokula Krishnan who was associated with director
Faazil for a long time died in a private hospital
yesterday. He was 63. He was the dialogue
writer for films like Varusham 16, Poove Poochooda
Vaa, Friends, Kaadalukku Mariyaadai to name
a few. In fact it was said in the industry
that these films were much spoken for their
powerful dialogues and his combination with
Faazil worked wonders at the box office.
He has also directed a number of Tamil
and Malayalam films. Some of the Kollywood
films that for which he had wielded the
megaphone were Aananda Kummi, Muthu Kalai
and Poovarasan.
Gokula Krishnan was not keeping in good
health for almost a month and was being
treated for his poor health conditions.
His condition deteriorated a couple of days
back and he breathed his last yesterday.
He is survived by his wife Kavitha. His
body was cremated last evening and many
film personalities paid their last tribute.
