The
producer of the film Vedha is back again
with another film titled Marupadiyum
Oru Kadhal. The film is based on a real
life incident that happened a few years
ago. Marupadiyum Oru Kadhal is weaved
on the love between a Sri Lankan girl
and Tamil lad. Anirudh plays the male
lead while the London-based Jyothsna
will be the heroine. Suman
plays
a very significant role in the film. Story,
screenplay and direction is by Vasu Baskar.
Incidentally, Jyothsna happens to be the daughter
of yesteryear actress Saroja who had starred
in the film Vadai Maalai produced by lyricist
Vaali. Interestingly, Saroja was classmate
of Rajinikanth and Chirnajeevi at the Film
Institute. This film's launch was held at
the Greenpark Hotel in Chennai.
