A
film based on the life of popular late
actress "Silk" Smitha could
be produced by Ekta Kapoor. Ekta is
a well-known producer in Northern parts
of India for producing soap operas that
have great TRP ratings. Sources have
it that talks are on with Mallika Sherawat
to star in this project. "Silk"
Smitha sizzled in the
silver screen for nearly a decade before committing
suicide.
The actress shot to limelight and attracted
the Hindi audience with her performance in
Moonram Pirai, which was dubbed in Hindi.
She went on to star in a couple of Hindi films
before succumbing to her tumultuous life.
According to Ekta, the director and other
technicians are yet to be finalized.
