child artiste before occupying the top
slot as heroine. She had done many meaningful
roles over the years and has carved
a niche for herself. Speaking to the
reporters about reports that she may
quit acting, Meena said that they are
baseless rumors. However, the actress
agreed that she is waiting for
more
meaty roles and hence she is seen less on
screen.
On her current projects, the actress said
that she is paired opposite Vijayakanth in
Mariyadhai. The film is directed by Vikraman.
The actress added she has one project each
in Malayalam and Telugu.
