Karu Palaniappan is known for directing films like Parthiban Kanavu and Pirivom Sandhippom. He had worked with Vishal and Srikanth in Sivappadhigaram and Sadhurangam respectively. He also directed and starred in the intriguing Mandhira Punnagai.
Now the director is all set for his next project which is titled Jannal Oram. The film reportedly stars Vimal in the lead and is tipped to be a remake of the Malayalam film called Ordinary. The story revolves around a particular town bus and the lives of it’s driver and conductor.
The pooja for Jannal Oram was held yesterday.
