Ace cinematographer Ravi K. Chandran has kick-started his directorial debut in an auspicious manner. His maiden project Yaan's pooja was held at the Gokuldham temple in Mumbai. The director prayed for the Almighty’s blessings for everyone involved in the project. The team plans for a month long outing in Mumbai as part of its first schedule.
Yaan stars Jiiva who has plenty of projects in his kitty at the moment. His love interest in the film will be played by Thulasi Nair whose identity is kept under wraps at the moment by the Kadal team, through which she will be introduced. But the young girl has been active on her micro-blogging page expressing her joy working with the team of Yaan.
Yaan will have music by Harris Jayaraj and will also feature notable performers like Nasser and Prakash Raj and some highly revered technicians in the likes of Resul Pookutty and Sabu Cyril.
