Thuppakki director A.R. Murugadoss has admitted to approaching Santosh Sivan on many occasions in the past to work for his film. He said he found himself to be very lucky with the ace cameraman willing and available to work for the Vijay starrer.
Now with the success of the Tamil version, A.R. Murugadoss is gearing up to repeat the same in Hindi with Akshay Kumar but he will be without the expertise of Santosh Sivan. The cameraman has politely declined the offer to work in this project as he doesn’t want to work on a remake now.
He also revealed that he plans to relieve himself from cinematographer duties for sometime and focus on his directorial venture instead.
