Mahesh Babu is among the most popular Telugu stars in Tamil Nadu. His Telugu releases have often been dubbed in Tamil and released here. They have enjoyed a decent run too.
Now, he might just do a straight Tamil film to cater to his Tamil fans. Krish of Vaanam and Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum fame will direct this film. Ashwini Dutt would produce this film and it is expected that Mahesh would dub for himself in Tamil as he was brought up in Chennai.
If this news turns out to be true, then Mahesh fans would have a lot to rejoice. There are also rumors floating around that Gautham Menon would be doing his much talked about 'Yohan' as a trilingual in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi with Mahesh Babu in the lead.
