Reports that suggested that Powerstar Dr. Sreenivasan will be featured in the remake of the super hit comedy Thillu Mullu starring Mirchi Shiva reprising the role immortalized by Rajini are not true.
Earlier there was news spreading that Powerstar will be donning the role of Nagesh from the original but the filmmakers have denied this entirely. Powerstar, infact, will not be part of the film at all. Sources confirm with us now that Sathyan will play the role of Nagesh.
Additionally, the original version had a wonderful cameo appearance by Kamal Haasan and we believe that the makers of the remake are yet to finalize the actor for that part. We hear that popular director Sundar. C was approached for the same but his participation has not materialized.
