One of India’s most beautiful women, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, celebrates her 39th birthday today. After beginning her film career in the Tamil industry through Mani Ratnam’s Iruvar, the former Miss World went on to become the undisputed queen of Bollywood at one instance.
In her early days, she did appear in a few Tamil films but focused a lot more on Bollywood and the Hollywood offers that came thereafter. Post her marriage to Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya returned to cast her spell on the Tamil audience with her performance in Raavanan and, more recently, Enthiran. While her future projects are uncertain at the moment, it will undoubtedly be one of the most awaited comebacks in Indian cinema.
