Bharathiraja and Vairamuthu have announced during the launch of Anna Kodiyum Kodi Veeranum that they have formed an Educational Trust to help people in Theni District pursue their studies.
They both belong to the same native place and want people in the region to benefit from the Trust. The director and lyricist said that the Trust named Bharathiraja-Vairamuthu Trust would help poor students realize their dreams of pursuing higher education.
Vairamuthu announced that he would give five lakh rupees and also the entire payment he would get for writing the lyrics for Anna Kodiyum Kodi Veeranum for this Trust while Bharathiraja committed ten lakh rupees.
The director added that he would not pay Vairamuthu a single penny for writing the lyrics because his writing cannot be measured with money; they are invaluable, he added.
