Friday and Kollywood would make history of sorts.
Three movie releases on a Friday is not new
to the industry but call it sheer coincidence,
this Friday has significance attached to it.
The three movies that are getting released are
Mandhira Punnagai, Nagaram and Magizhchi.
The directors of these movies are Karu Pazhaniappan,
Sundar C and V Gowthaman.
The coincidence here is that the heroes of all
three movies are their directors themselves.
While Karu Pazhaniappan is the hero of Mandhira Punnagai, Sundar C will be directing his 25th
movie after a gap of nearly 5 years and star
in it as well. V Gowthman is the director who
has also starred in Magizhchi
Magizhchi is based on a novel called 'Thalaimurai'
by Neela Padmanabhan and is proclaimed as one
of the best novels in India. The director has
said that there is not a single dull moment
in the movie.
Let us hope these three movies make people in
all cities (Nagaram) happy (Magizhchi) with
a magical smile (Mandhira Punnagai).
