• Nandalala is director Mysskin's third
movie. His first two movies were Chithiram Pesuthadi
and Anjathey which were released in 2006 and
2008 respectively.
• Nandalala is inspired by the Japanese
movie Kikujiro which was released in 1999. This
is about the story of a young boy searching
for his mother during his summer vacation.
• Mysskin will make his debut as an actor
in this movie. He plays a very touching role
of a mentally challenged person.
• Music for Nandalala has been scored
by Ilayaraja. This is the first time Ilayaraja
has scored music for a Mysskin movie. Sundar
C. Babu was the music director for both his
earlier films.
• Mahesh Muthuswamy has handled the cinematography
for this movie. He has done this in all of Mysskin's
movies.
