The US theatrical rights of Ratha Charithram
have been acquired by the GK Media LLC.
The film, which deals with gang war, is
directed by Ram Gopal Varma. It has Suriya,
Vivek Oberoi and Priyamani in lead roles.
The first part of Raktha Charithra (Telugu
and Hindi) turned out to be hit and with
Suriya dominating in part 2, it has created
a lot of expectations among the Tamil
audiences.
Speaking about Suriya, RGV said, “Suriya
has donned the role of Suri, who takes
up arms for settling scores with his enemies.
I have great regard for Suriya. Working
with him has been a delightful experience.
He has the intensity of a volcano. He
is capable of doing any kind of role.”
The film will be released worldwide on
November 26th, 2010.
