It has been a while since we saw a Malayalam
movie in Tamil. Anwar, which was critically
acclaimed, is a movie about the journey
of a Malayali youth Anwar into the clutches
of anti-social elements through unfortunate
events following the loss of his family
in a bomb blast. The protagonist has another
hidden agenda in joining the terrorist
outfit, which is revealed towards the
climax.
Anwar has Prithviraj, Mamta Mohandas and
Prakash Raj in lead roles. Though the
