Acclaimed cinematographer Ravi K. Chandran
is a happy man these days. The reason
for his happiness is his work in the Shahrukh
starrer 'My name is Khan' has been selected
for the main awards competition at the
coveted 'Plus Camerimage' International
film festival for the art of cinematography.
The festival, a global event, will be
held in Bydgozscs, Poland between November
27 and December 4, 2010.
Ravi K. Chandran is known for his pristine
and vibrant cinematography in the Malayalam,
Tamil and Hindi film industries. He has
worked with the who's who of the Indian
movie world including Mani Ratnam, Rakesh
Roshan, Faran Akhthar, Priyadarshan and
Shankar. His work in movies like Viraasat,
Black, Dil Chahta Hai, Boys and Kannathil
Muthamittal was critically applauded.
He is currently wielding the lens for
AR Mugadoss' next movie 7aam Arivu starring
Surya. His Bollywood project, Guzaarish,
directed by Sanjay Leela Bansali, is up
for release soon.
