Asin, who migrated to Mumbai to
concentrate on her Bollywood career,
was in town to receive the prestigious
Kalaimaamani award of the state
government. The Malabar lass looked
as ravishing as before in a pink
designer ensemble. After the recent
debacle of her second Hindi film
London Dreams, there were many rumors
about her next career move. People
speculated that she would pack her
bags and return to Chennai.
Putting all the rumors to rest,
the Ghajini girl said, “Hits
and failures are normal in the film
industry. One flop does not determine
or alter the career move of any
artiste. I continue to give in my
best to every project that I am
involved in. Tamil films have given
me recognition and identity and
if good script comes my way, I would
definitely do a Tamil film. Languages
are not a barrier to me.”
